Meet Syd

Hi, I'm Syd — the planner, stylist, and tent-pitcher behind Gathered by Syd. What started as styling parties for the special people in my life has grown into something I'm so grateful to share with our community here in Milbank.

Since I was a little girl tagging along to work with my grandma, I've loved watching ideas come to life. Watching spaces transform into meaningful moments sparked a creativity in me that never really left, and now I get to bring that feeling to others through Gathered by Syd.

To me, hosting is about creating a space where people feel celebrated, comfortable, and connected — the kind of moments guests remember long after the party ends. But as fun and beautiful as the details are, I never want us to lose sight of the reason we're celebrating in the first place. My goal is to take the planning off your plate so you can be fully present for the laughter, the memories, and the people who matter most.

Whether it's your daughter's first sleepover, a milestone birthday, a bridal shower with your closest friends, or an intimate gathering "just because," I'd love to help create something that feels elevated, intentional, and worth remembering.
